These Are a Few of My Favorite Things...

For my inaugural blog entry, I have decided to just jump right in and share some of my favorite fashions, beauty supplies, and trends.

Conair Compact Ionic 20-Roller Hair Setter from Target is just $21.99. I purchased these on the advice from on of my favorite blogs and couldn't be happier! I have absolutely NO talent when it comes to styling my hair and recently triedVelcro rollers which was a disaster! I have used these rollers only twice and the second time was pretty much flawless. They are fast and easy to put in and the clips that come with the set work perfectly so I didn't even have to spend more money on those. With normally stick straight hair, this gave me natural looking curls that were so easy.

Now I love clothes and shoes and nail polish and purses...really anything. I have a terrible quality of loving all THINGS. This leaves me in some financial straights at times so I have had to figure out a way to get great things without spending a ton of money. Pedicures I will never make an exception for because they cannot be matched. Manicures, however, I can DIY at home. Sally Hanson's Complete Salon Manicure line has fabulous colors that claim to be "base coat, strengthener, growth treatment, color, and top coat." My manicure with this line lasts me a good week but that is with extra top coat because I inevitably chip the tip of my nails as soon as they are done. I have 3 colors that every girl needs in her repertoire Sheer Me Now, Pat on the Black, and
All Fired Up.

There is nothing that I love better than a glass of Pinot Noir (or really any kind of wine for that matter) and some lit candles while I unwind at the end of the day and watch
Glee, Gossip Girl, or any reality show on Bravo involving housewives. I discovered Voluspa candles for the first time at Franchesca's Collections and have been obsessed ever since.

Things I'm still pining over and have not yet spent money on...
1. Faux fur vest. Old Navy has a cute one for only $29.99
2. Knee high brown riding boots. Haven't found a pair I find acceptable yet
3. Cross body bag. I know I'm behind the times here, I just get so loyal to a bag that I don't even look but my trusty black leather Coach purse could use some time off
4. A winter dress and thick wool tights. Which I will wear that pair of riding boots.
5. More leggings and tunics (Plaid, sweater, anything). I just love how these combos look and they are SO comfy to wear
6. A great trench coat!

All for now, but I have much to review and update on!
